Easter Morning

They kids were up at 6:30 hunting for baskets and eggs......God help me.I didn't get to bed until 1 after hiding the stuff!! Happy Easter and God Bless

Rachel turns 12

Well my little girl is officially 12!! She had a great birthday week.It started off with a traditional St. Pattys dinner at memaws(Franks mom). Then Monday, her actual birthday, we went to see the Cardinals play the Braves with Uncle Maney(he payed for the tickets, We love Uncle Maney!!!).I have befriended the general manager of the Cardinals and he was able to give us amazing seats and also take the kids down into the dugout and out on the field pre-game to meet some players and get some autographs. They also put her name on the scoreboard during the 6th inning to say Happy Birthday. She brought her brother and her best friend Maggie. They had a ball!!!!!Then we ended the week with a 5 girl sleepover and beach during the day(no school Good Friday) and bowling that night.Followed by a 10 a.m house showing.I had a apologize to the girls on numerous occasions for having total breakdowns of the stress trying to keep the house clean. To cap off all of this excitement Rachel's friend was trying to find a home for and elderly friends Chihuahua.Well Rachel has been saving her money for a Chihuahua so guess what else now lives under my roof along with 3 kids, a 1 1/2 year old Boston terrier, a husband that thinks he is a 16 year old, and myself who feels like an 80 year old grandma......you got it a sweet little 4 year old Chihuahua.

Just a few interesting things about Rachel
-She was 3 lb.13 oz. at her 1 week check-up
-She played on the invite only 3rd grade and up tennis team when she was in 1st grade.
-We call her boogie-loo because she has monster nostrils and they were always full when she was little!!
-She is named after Rachel Hurley and was born a month early on the anniversary of her death.
-She excels at every sport.(It amazes me!!!) note:SHE DOES NOT GET THIS FROM ME!!!!!

Stitches

Well I am back already. It has been about 5 hours since I was last here.Bryce on this glorious 4th birthday slipped getting out of the tub and split his chin open along with a fat lip.So the old saying"All i want for christmas" well it changed in my house tonight it is now "all I want for birthday is 4 stitches in my chin". Pray for my sanity. My baby is now not a baby without training wheels and his first 4 stitches in his chin!!!!
p.s. I just happened to have my camera from the earlier festivities so i was able to catch the fearless boy in all of his glory!!!!

My baby turned 4 today.Frank keeps telling me that he's not a baby but, I think he will always be called that by me. Bryce had a big week, I guess he could sense his impending maturity because he also deceided this week that he should have his training wheels off so not only did he leave babydom but he now is training wheelless. For you mothers out there you know this is absolute torture for a mother to have sooo many milestones at one time!! I will recover soon....I think.
